About the Role We are an established electrical and mechanical services company expanding our team in Christchurch.

We need a sharp, client-facing Estimator to scope work on-site, price small-to-medium electrical jobs, and lead local client relationships. You will operate with full backing from our senior management and admin teams, working alongside an experienced field team.

This role is flexible in its growth path, offering opportunity to step into a local Branch Management position as Christchurch operations expand, or evolve into a broader National Estimator role across our wider business.

Key Responsibilities

Meet clients on-site to assess requirements and develop scopes from scratch.

Produce accurate, competitive quotes and tenders for small-to-medium commercial projects.

Deliver clear handovers to field delivery staff.

Help establish smooth local workflows.

Who You Are

Trade Background: Strong knowledge in electrical and AS/NZS 3000 standards.

Solutions-Focused: Able to walk onto a site, visualize the install, and price it without needing full drawings.

Client-Facing: Confident communicator who can build trust and win repeat business.

Added Value: Commercial pricing experience is ideal. Knowledge of HVAC controls or solar is a plus.
