Job summary

Auckland Council’s Technology Services team is seeking an experienced Technical Product Owner to lead our Connectivity team on a journey to modernise our technology landscape. This role has ownership across key network and security connectivity services.

You will translate complex technical requirements into clear decisions and priorities, maintain a prioritised roadmap and backlog, and collaborate with architects, engineering and vendors to ensure secure, resilient and scalable connectivity

Qualifications

Experience with product ownership in technology environments.
Ability to translate technical requirements into clear decisions and priorities.
Strong collaboration with architects, engineering and service owners.
Understanding of enterprise connectivity technologies (LAN, WiFi, WAN, remote access, cloud connectivity).

Responsibilities

Lead and support connectivity teams to deliver and operate services.
Own product direction, prioritised roadmap and backlog for connectivity services.
Balance investment, lifecycle, security, resilience and improvement needs.
Collaborate with stakeholders to establish standards and enable consumption of services.
