Job summary

Auckland Council’s Technology Services team is seeking a Technical Product Owner to lead our Hybrid Cloud Platforms. You will own the prioritised roadmap and backlog, guiding cross-functional teams to modernise our technology landscape.

You will drive cloud platform standards across AWS, Azure, GCP and private cloud, balancing lifecycle, security and resilience with business demand, delivering secure, scalable services for technology teams across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Proven product ownership experience in hybrid cloud or infrastructure projects.
• Strong technical fluency across cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and private cloud.
• Experience guiding technical teams and shaping platform roadmaps and backlogs.

Responsibilities

• Lead Hybrid Cloud Platforms initiatives and own the prioritised roadmap and backlog.
• Collaborate with architects, engineering, operational teams, vendors and service owners.
• Establish platform standards and enable teams to effectively consume cloud services.
