Job summary

Mitre 10 MEGA Westgate in Auckland is seeking a confident, customer-focused Retail Team Member for our Kitchen and Bathroom Showrooms. This fixed-term contract role emphasizes relationship building, advising customers, and turning enquiries into sales.

You’ll engage customers, actively sell kitchen, appliance and bathroom ranges, and help choose styles and finishes. Full-time, 40 hours per week, Sunday to Thursday, ending October 2027. Uniform provided and staff buying privileges.

Qualifications

• Previous retail sales experience is essential.
• Experience in kitchens, bathrooms, appliances, interiors, building products or a similar showroom environment would be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Engaging with customers to understand their needs, preferences, budget and project goals.
• Actively selling our kitchen, kitchen appliance and bathroom product ranges.
• Making recommendations and suggesting complementary products to create the right solution for each customer.

From stylish kitchen appliances and practical kitchensolutions to beautiful bathroom suites, you'll help our customers bring theirrenovation and makeover ideas to life — by understanding what they need,offering great advice, making thoughtful suggestions and confidentlyrecommending the right products.

This is a sales-focused showroom role, not a kitchendesign position. Your strength will be building customer relationships,recognising opportunities, showcasing our product range and delivering a greatexperience that turns enquiries into sales.
