Job summary

Mitre 10 MEGA Albany is seeking a Showrooms Leader to coach and lead our on-floor showroom team, delivering premium customer experiences and strong sales results. You’ll guide showroom specialists and designers, ensuring opportunities are identified and converted into sales while maintaining an inspiring environment.

You’ll spend time on the shop floor, developing your team and maintaining momentum in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a showroom or retail sales team on the floor.
• Ability to coach staff to identify opportunities and close sales.
• Strong focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
• Knowledge of kitchens, bathroomware, appliances, furniture or related project-based sales environments.

About the Role

Reporting to the Retail Manager, you'll lead our dedicated Showrooms team from its own mezzaninelevel, a premium retail space showcasing kitchens, bathrooms, lighting andoutdoor living solutions.

Customers visit thisspace for expert guidance as they make significant purchasing decisions fortheir homes. It's an environment where great service, specialist knowledge andstrong sales capability go hand in hand.

You'll be responsiblefor leading a team of showroom specialists and designers to achieve salestargets and deliver outstanding customer outcomes. This includes coaching teammembers to identify opportunities, convert enquiries into sales, build customerconfidence and create a seamless customer experience from initial engagementthrough to project completion.

This is a hands-onleadership role where you'll spend your time on the floor supporting customers,developing your team and maintaining momentum in a fast-paced salesenvironment. You'll bring energy, urgency and attention to detail, helping yourdepartments consistently deliver strong commercial results while providing theservice we're known for.
