Job summary

Hilton Haulage is seeking skilled tanker drivers to join our milk collection operation in Tokoroa. You will drive milk tankers from farms to sites, ensuring safety and compliance on every run.

This fixed-term role features a peak-season schedule with a rotating 3/3/3 roster and average shifts of 10–12 hours. Applicants must hold a Class 5 Licence and be able to operate across varied rural routes.

Qualifications

• Class 5 Licence with 2–3+ years truck and trailer experience.
• Ability to navigate narrow rural roads and gravel terrain.
• Flexibility to work day and night shifts.
• Ability to use basic tech and learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Drive milk tanker to farms and deliver safely to site.
• Perform pre/post trip checks and maintain safety standards.
• Use in-cab tech for runs, records and compliance.
• Build strong relationships with farmers.

The role:

We arelooking for a number of skilled and enthusiastic tanker drivers to join ourmilk collection operation collecting milk for Olam Food Ingredients (ofi).Joining the team based in Tokoroa, you’ll be the friendly face farmers see at thegate – making sure every collection is safe, smooth, and compliant.

What you’llbe doing:

• You’ll be out on theroad collecting milk from farms and delivering it safely to site, keepingone of NZ’s most important industries moving.
• Completing sampling+ quality checks.
• Using in-cab techfor runs, records, and compliance.
• Pre/post trip checksand safe operation at all times.
• Building solidrelationships with farmers.
• Working across variedroutes from gravel tracks to rural backroads.
• Delivering excellenceevery time.
• Maintaining acommitment to safety, vehicle care, and customer service - upholding thehigh standards our farmers and suppliers expect.

Workpattern:

We have a number of fixed-term (till Feb 2027) full-time roles with a rotating 3/3/3 roster:

• 3 days on, 3 nights on,3 days off.
• Average shift: 10–12hours.

What youwill bring to the table:

• Class 5 Licence(non-negotiable) with2-3 years+ experience driving truck and trailer.
• Prior experience andconfidence navigating narrow rural roads and gravel terrain.
• Flexibility to workboth day and night shifts.
• The ability to usebasic tech and pick up new systems.
• A team player with acan-do attitude and great customer service skills.
