Mainstream in Hastings is seeking a Class 5 Linehaul Driver to join our nationwide transport and logistics team. You will drive modern trucks across New Zealand, assist with loading and gear swaps, and work with a supportive crew under the Operations Manager.

• Current Class 5 license with endorsements 1,2,4,5,F,D.
• Proven truck and trailer experience, including reversing and manoeuvring.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and safety-first mindset.

Responsabilités

• Safely and efficiently drive linehaul vehicles delivering and collecting freight nationwide
• Assist with loading, securing, and unloading freight, including gear swap operations
• Return swapped units to the depot for unloading after breaks
• Maintain trucks and trailers, including fuel, wash, RUCs, and general upkeep
• Use EROAD electronic logbooks to accurately record driving hours, rest breaks, and trip details in line with NZTA compliance requirements
• Work closely with dispatch, warehouse teams, and other departments to ensure smooth operations
• Follow all health, safety, and operational procedures at all times

We’re looking for a Class 5 Linehaul Driver to join our Hastings based team. This is a full-time role reporting to the Operations Manager.

YOU'LL NEED:

• Current Class 5 driver license (endorsements 1,2,4,5,F,D)
• Proven truck and trailer experience, including reversing and manoeuvring
• A strong work ethic, reliability, and safety-first mindset
• Ability to work unsupervised and manage time effectively
• Good communication skills and ability to relate well with others
• Good knowledge of NZ geography.
