Job summary

Hilton Haulage is seeking an experienced Class 5 driver for wood pellet transport from Washdyke Timaru to Clandeboye. You will load, deliver, and unload at the client site, operating in a 3/3/3 roster with a Kenworth 5-axle tipper.

Qualifications

• We require a Class 5 licence with at least 2 years of truck driving experience.
• Loader and tipping experience is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to operate with a rotating day/night schedule.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 2021 Kenworth with a 5 axle tub, delivering wood pellets to Clandeboye site.
• Load at Washdyke, transport to Fonterra’s Clandeboye site and unload.

Theopportunity:

We arelooking for an experienced Class 5 driver to join our highly skilled anddynamic Bulk Transport Team.

Working out of our Bulk Store at the Washdyke yard in Timaru, you'll bedriving a 2021 Kenworth with a 5 axle lusk tub with the important responsibility of transportingwood pellets - loading your truck at Washdyke and delivering and unloading to Fonterra’sClandeboye site - keeping their fires burning, powering one of New Zealand's primary industries.

Yourattention to safety, maintenance, and vehicle operation will reflect the highstandards our loyal customers and suppliers expect, and drivers must be comfortable with a truck-sharing arrangementand clean and tidy with good habits around in-cab presentation.

WorkPattern

Full-time, permanentrole with a rotating 3/3/3 roster:

• 3 days on, 3 nights on, 3 days off
• Averageshift: 10-12 hours

What youbring to the table:

• Class 5 Licence (orequivalent) with 2 years of experience
• A reliable, pro-activeand can-do approach
• Loader andtipping experience (preferred, but not essential)
• The desire andability to work a rotating day/night shift pattern
• A knack for learningnew technology
• A passion for teamworkand customer service
