Fonterra Co-operative Group is seeking a permanent full-time Tanker Operator to join our Edendale/ Southland operations. You will drive tanker trucks on country roads, ensuring safe, timely deliveries from farm to factory, with a focus on quality and customer service.

You must hold a current Class 5 licence and have recent truck and trailer experience. The role involves rosters, on-site training, and working in a safety‑driven environment with opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current and clean Class 5 driver licence.
• Recent experience driving truck and trailer.
• Experience driving country roads and carrying live loads is highly desirable.
• Provide proof of eligibility to work in New Zealand.
• Documentation accepted includes NZ birth certificate with photo ID or foreign passport with visa.

Responsabilités

• Operate tanker trucks on assigned routes with a focus on safety, regulation compliance and on-time delivery.
• Follow shift rosters and work collaboratively with a team to meet production and delivery targets.
• Participate in pre-employment checks and assessment centre as part of recruitment process.

We really want to know that you are passionate about what you do and about being part of our team, so you will need to have:

• A current and clean full Class 5 Driver Licence
• Recent experience driving truck and trailer
• Experience driving country roads and carrying live loads is highly desirable
• You will need to supply proof of your eligibility to work in New Zealand.
• Documents you can use are:
• NZ birth certificate AND Valid Photo ID (AND proof of name change if applicable e.g., Marriage Certificate); OR
• Foreign passport with valid visa

Our recruitment process will include attendance at an assessment centre and pre-employment checks (including drug and medical, reference check, right to work and a police check).
