Job summary

Trojan Holdings Limited in Queenstown is seeking a Systems Support Engineer to bolster our IT services across corporate operations, guest experiences, and mountain environments. This hands-on role provides multi-site technical support, ensuring critical systems remain secure, reliable, and operational.

You will work with Microsoft 365, Entra, and Intune, manage incidents via Freshservice, and participate in an on-call roster including winter weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in Systems Engineer/IT Admin/Service Desk roles.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365, Entra (Active Directory) and Intune.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain IT infrastructure, networks, and telephony.
• Administer Microsoft Entra ID, AD, M365, Intune, Exchange Online.
• Manage incidents via Freshservice.
• Support multi-site environments and on-call roster.

Systems Support Engineer

Queenstown | Permanent, Full-Time

Join our IT Services team and help support the technology that powers our corporate operations, guest experiences, and mountain environments.

This hands-on role provides technical support across multiple businesses and locations, ensuring critical systems remain secure, reliable, and operational.

What You'll Do

• Support and maintain IT infrastructure, networks, cloud services, end-user devices, and telephony systems
• Administer Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Intune, and Exchange Online
• Manage incidents and service requests through Freshservice
• Support operational technologies including access control, POS systems, digital signage, and connectivity services
• Maintain IT assets, documentation, and knowledge base articles
• Work closely with vendors and stakeholders to resolve issues and improve service delivery
• Participate in an on-call roster, including winter season and weekend support

What You'll Bring

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Systems Engineer, IT Administrator, IT Support, or Service Desk role.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Microsoft 365, Microsoft identity management (eg AD, Entra), and Intune environments.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Experience supporting multi-site environments
• Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with Freshservice or similar ITSM platforms
