IDEA Services, part of the IHC New Zealand group, is seeking a Support Worker in New Zealand’s Bay of Plenty region. You will assist adults with intellectual disabilities living in their own homes, helping them reach goals with a caring, safe approach. The role includes split shifts, weekend work and a 44-hour fortnight schedule.
Previous caregiving experience is valued, with training opportunities available and the chance to grow within a premier disability-service provider in New Zealand.

As a Support Worker you will be supporting clients with various needs, managing risk and ensuring their safety. Previous relevant experience is preferred, but more importantly, we are looking for someone with varied life experience and an open-minded attitude.
