As a casual Support Worker based in Motueka, you’ll help people participate in activities, manage daily routines, and stay connected with their communities.

Qualifications

• Casual role with shifts including days, evenings, sleepovers and weekends.
• Ability to use computers and tablets for daily tasks.
• Reliable, respectful, patient and willing to learn.
• Full training and orientation provided.

• Casual role based in Motueka
• Availability for day, evening, sleepover and weekend shifts
• $24.68 - $30.13 per hour, based on relevant qualifications + 8% Holiday Pay

Mō te tūnga | About the role

As a Support Worker you’ll support people with intellectual disabilities to live the lives they choose – whether that’s getting out into the community, trying something new, enjoying their favourite activities or simply getting through the everyday routines at home.

This is a casual role, with no guarenteed hours and shifts offered on an as-needed basis, giving you the flexibility to work around your other commitments.

What matters most is that you're reliable, respectful, patient and willing to learn. We provide full training and orientation to help you feel confident in the role.

• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including sleepovers and weekends.
• Comfortable and proficient in using computers and tablets.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Physical fitness to provide necessary physical support.
• A Full NZ driver's license.
