Job summary

Enliven is seeking a Support Worker to visit clients in their homes across a range of hours, providing personal care, meal prep, and home support within care plans. You will support elderly, disabled, and recovery clients to live independently within their community.

We value empathy, reliability and strong customer service. You will work flexible hours including evenings and weekends, driving to client homes with a valid NZ license.

Qualifications

  • New Zealand resident or eligible work visa.
  • Full New Zealand driver’s license and a reliable vehicle to travel to clients.
  • Flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
  • Clear English reading and speaking to clients and colleagues.
  • Compassion for the elderly, disabled and those in recovery.
  • Willing to visit clients in their homes and follow care plans.

Responsibilities

  • Visit clients in their homes to provide personal cares, medication assistance, meal preparation, home help and support per care plan.
  • Keep care plans up to date and document care provided.
  • Promote independence and community participation for clients.

As an EnlivenSupport Worker, you will visit clients (elderly, disabled, individuals in recovery)in their homes to help them with a range ofpersonal cares (showering, dressing), issuing medication,meal preparation, home help, and assistance withcommunity activities. The care and support required will depend on the specific needs of the client. You will keep up to date with and deliver support in line with the agreed care plan.

Various hours are available across the week and weekends.

Requirements are below:

A New Zealand resident, citizen or have an eligible workvisa

A full New Zealand driver's licence and a reliable vehicle that you are prepared to drive to and between clients (We can not accept International drivers licences)

Can accommodate flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Clear English language skills - able to read English instructions and plans and speak clearly in English to clients and colleagues

Strong customer service skills - are good at interacting with a wide range of people and enjoy helping people

High-quality standards and ability to adhere to professional standards, policiesand practices

Compassion for the elderly, disabled and those in recovery

Confident to visit a range of clients in their homes and provide them with a range of care and support
