Healthvision NZ is seeking dedicated community support workers to assist service users in Hawera and surrounding areas. The role involves daily living support, personal care, meal prep, and helping people access community activities.
You will work within a compassionate, team-based environment, rotating rosters, and contributing to safe and empowering care plans. A Level 3/4 Health and Wellbeing qualification is beneficial, with full NZ driver license preferred.

We offer a range of employment opportunities including casual, part-time, and full-time positions, which will be discussed further during the recruitment process.
As this is community-based work, rotating rosters would be involved including am, pm and weekend work. Your preferred hours of work can be discussed during the recruitment process.
The duration of these hours may vary, ranging from shorter to longer periods, depending on the specific needs of the people we support.
You are a calm but confident natured individual who can demonstrate resilience and understand the challenges of service users. There are many responsibilities associated with being a support worker which can be challenging and fulfilling. It is rewarding when you are part of the support that enables a person to live their best lives in the community.
Legal right to work in New Zealand is a must.
$25.22 - $31.40per hour (This is based on the Pay Equity Settlement 2017 – hourly pay rates based on equivalency of Healthcare Qualifications assessed under Pay Equity).
