Job summary

New World Hastings in Hawke's Bay is seeking a dedicated Supermarket Assistant to join our large-format store. Permanent Full Time and Permanent Part Time roles are available, with training provided and a clear path to growth within the Foodstuffs North Island cooperative.

You will be part of a friendly team, delivering excellent customer service, handling groceries and fresh foods, and supporting daily store operations.

Qualifications

• Can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
• Physically fit and able to perform duties.
• Ability to work unsupervised and in a team.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Proven customer service skills.
• Experience in FMCG, fresh food or food retail preferred but not required.

New World Hastings is a large formatSupermarket in Hawkes Bay. We are locally owned and operated and part of theFoodstuffs North Island Cooperative. New World Hastings services over 20,000customers weekly with a full range of groceries. Our customer promises are FairValue, Inspiring Solutions and Awesome Experience.

We have an exciting Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities at New World Hastings as a Supermarket Assistant.

Key Requirements for the role include.
