Job summary

New World Wanaka, a Foodstuffs store, is hiring supermarket assistants for multiple roles in a busy Wanaka location. Departments and shifts are varied and will be discussed at interview. You will help customers, stack and display goods, assist with personal shopping, wrap and package items, and process payments at the till.

A willingness to learn and teamwork are essential, with health and safety compliance a must. ANZSCO 621111 (L5) Sales Assistant.

Supermarket Assistants - New World Wanaka

Key tasks, duties and responsibilities:

• Helping customer to find products in the store and answering their questions
• Stacking & displaying goods for sale
• Personal shopping
• Wrapping, preparing and packaging goods for sale
• Servicing customers and accepting payment for goods via our point-of-sale systems
• Assisting with the ongoing management of stock such as participating in stock takes

Pay rate range for these positions is $24.50 - $26.00 per hour. Roles are a minimum of 30 hours per week and most will include some weekend work. These roles relate to ANZSCO 621111 (L5) Sales Assistant.
