Job summary

Foodstuffs South Island Limited is hiring for multiple 40-hour-per-week retail roles in Queenstown. Roles require weekend work; full training is provided, and the team operates a 24-hour store environment across shifts.

Ideal candidates are motivated, enjoy working in a team, and can lift up to 15 kg repeatedly. Sponsorship for candidates without NZ work rights is considered only after checks.

Responsibilities

• Help customers find products and answer questions.

• Assist with stock management and stocktakes.

We are looking for 30 retail superstars to join our team. We have just completed a major store renovation and are looking for new team members to join our expanding business.

We are located in beautiful Queenstown at 1/12 Hawthorne Drive, Remarkables Park, Queenstown, 9300.

Pay rate range for these positions is $24.50-$25.50per hour.

Roles are all 40 hours per week. Roles all work 1-2 weekend day but hours vary for each role as we operate staff 24hours.

This role relates to ANZSCO 6211 Sales Assistant.

Key tasks, duties and responsibilities:

• Helping customers to find products in the store and answering their questions
• Stacking and displaying goods for sale
• Wrapping, preparing and packaging goods for sale
• Serving customers and accepting payment for goods via our point of sale system
• Assisting with the ongoing management of stock such as participating in stocktakes
