Job summary

New World Wanaka is hiring supermarket assistants to support customers, stack shelves, and handle personal shopping. You’ll help shoppers find products, answer questions, and operate the point-of-sale system.

The role offers steady, year-round work across varied shifts in a busy town-store environment. Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time and Fixed Term positions are available; weekend work may be required.

Supermarket Assistants – New World Wanaka

New World Wanaka is 100% locally owned and located just a hop, skip and jump from Wanaka’s Lake edge right in the middle of town at 20 Dunmore Street, Wanaka.

Key tasks, duties and responsibilities:

Pay rate range for these positions is $24.50 - $26.00 per hour. Roles are a minimum of 30 hours per week and most will include some weekend work. These roles relate to ANZSCO 621111 (L5) Sales Assistant.
