Job summary

Stantec is offering a 10-week Summer Intern experience for second- or third-year Mechanical Engineering students in the New Zealand Buildings group. You will work across exciting building services projects including HVAC, energy efficiency, and sustainability, under guidance from mentors and a supportive team.

Receive a starting rate of $29.90 per hour with potential progression to a permanent graduate role.

Qualifications

• Be in your second or third year of study.
• Preferably have a full clean current driving licence.
• Able to commence work from 23 November 2026 to 12 February 2027.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience across building services projects in NZ.
• Work on HVAC, energy efficiency, and sustainability solutions as part of project teams.
• Collaborate with mentors and teams across multiple NZ locations.
