Job summary

Auckland University of Technology (AUT) is seeking a talented professional to lead Student Services and Administration, supporting the rainbow student community and collaborating with stakeholders to enable student success.

You will drive continuous improvement, advocate equity and inclusion, and build strong relationships across the university and with external partners. This is a permanent, full-time role based at AUT's City Campus.

Qualifications

• Experience in case management delivery and providing wellbeing support.
• Ability to develop tactics to support cohorts within integrated pastoral care, with emphasis on rainbow students and diverse backgrounds.
• Knowledge of contemporary issues facing students and commitment to rainbow community.
• Strong leadership in delivering professional services with a customer-care culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership across Student Services and Administration and the wider University.

• Knowledge and understanding of the contemporary issues and challenges facing students
• Commitment to the wider rainbow community
• Experience in case management delivery and providing wellbeing support
• Ability in developing tactics to support cohorts of students within an integrated pastoral care support framework, with an emphasis on rainbow students and those from diverse backgrounds
• Innovative solutions and a focus on continuous improvement
• Experience in monitoring, analysis and providing reporting for senior leadership
• Proven leadership in the delivery of a high-quality, professional service with a culture of customer care
