Job summary

Wintec | Te Pūkenga in Hamilton is seeking a motivated Enrolment and Information Advisor to join the Domestic Admissions team on a full-time permanent basis.

You will assess applications against programme entry requirements, interpret regulations, check for completeness, and issue offers with accuracy and timeliness. The role requires strong numerical skills, proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other business systems, and a collaborative approach to support ākonga (students).

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification at Level 5 or above, or 2–3 years of administrative experience.
• Strong numerical/data handling ability and proficiency with Excel.
• Understanding of New Zealand tertiary education sector preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess applications against programme entry requirements.
• Interpret regulations and policies to guide decision making.
• Process applications from receipt to offer accurately and efficiently.
• Check applications for completeness and data quality.
• Issue offers of place and communicate decisions to applicants.
