Wintec in Hamilton seeks an experienced engineer to join the Centre for Engineering as an Academic Staff Member. You will teach across the Level 6 New Zealand Diploma in Engineering and Level 7 Bachelor of Engineering Technology, bringing real-world industry connections into the learning experience.

You don’t need teaching experience to be successful; if you have strong industry knowledge, a passion for sharing your knowledge, and enjoy developing others, we’d love to hear from you.

Join Wintec’s Trades and Engineering team and use your practical Engineering experience to inspire and prepare students for successful careers. What you’ll bring

We’re looking for an experienced Engineer with:

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering.
• Current industry experience and strong technical capability.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• A passion for sharing your knowledge and supporting the next generation of engineers.

You don’t need to have teaching experience to be successful in this role. If you have strong industry knowledge, a passion for your profession and an interest in developing others, we’d love to hear from you.

Salary: $77,500 – $96,800, depending on skills and experience.
