Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts' Holiday Inn Queenstown Remarkables Park is seeking a Reservations Manager for a full-time permanent role. You will lead the Reservations Department, implementing yield tactics and sales strategies to meet hotel targets.

You will manage daily reservations operations, maintain system data (Opera, OPERA Cloud, TPI), monitor workload and staffing, and support the Sales Team with rate loading.

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience in Reservations or Front Office management.
• Experience with OPERA or OPERA Cloud.
• Demonstrated ability to interact with guests, employees and third parties reflecting well on the hotel, the brand and the company.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of reservations.
• Ensure brand standards are followed.
• Maintains systems as required (Opera, IHG Concerto, TPI’s).
• Check hotel information is up to date in all channels.
• Manage “no show” reservations by investigation and recording.
• Maintain knowledge of special rates/offers/promotions.
• Monitor workload and manage staffing levels accordingly.
• Support the Sales Team with corporate and wholesale rate loading.
