Job summary

Holiday Inn Queenstown Remarkables Park is seeking a Reservations Supervisor to oversee the reservations team and deliver accurate information for both internal and external stakeholders. The role focuses on managing day-to-day operations, guest feedback, and group coordination with Meetings and Events.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years in Reservations or Front Office, strong hotel systems knowledge, budgeting and revenue management understanding, and excellent stakeholder communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hotel Management or related field.
• 1–2 years’ experience in Reservations or Front Office.
• Excellent ability to interact with guests, employees and third parties.
• Understanding of Hotel Systems and revenue management.
• Strong mathematical skills, budgeting, and P&L concepts.
• Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills.
• Strategic and tactical thinker with goal delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information on internal reservation status and external climate within which the hotel operates.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the reservations department.
• Monitor guest feedback with regards to commercial strategy.
• Manage groups with the Meetings and Events team.
• Maintain knowledge of regional hotels and rates.
• Develop and maintain relationships with tour agents and operators.
• Share knowledge of special rates, offers and promotions.
• Ad-hoc duties to support the team and other hotel departments.
