Rio Tinto NZAS in Southland is seeking a seasoned People Partner to act as the primary contact for the NZAS General Manager and leadership team, translating business plans into clear people actions. You will lead delivery across a defined portfolio in a complex, large-scale environment, partnering with People Experience, Organisation and Talent Partners and specialist teams.

Qualifications

• Senior HR business partnership and people advisory experience with leadership teams.
• Ability to translate business strategy into actionable people plans.
• Experience navigating NZ employee and labour relations frameworks.
• Proven track record in organisational change and embedding initiatives.
• Strong data interpretation to drive people actions.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple People teams.

Responsabilités

• Act as the trusted People Partner for the NZAS General Manager and leadership team.
• Translate business strategy into workforce and people plans and coordinate delivery.
• Coach leaders on performance, employee experience and priorities.
• Lead performance, talent and pay health processes for the site.
• Support complex employee relations matters and union interactions.
• Lead organisational changes and drive communication and adoption.
• Analyse engagement and workforce data to inform strategy.
