Job summary

The People Project is seeking a People & Culture Consultant / HR Business Partner to support SME Kiwi clients with a broad HR remit, from onboarding to exit and beyond. You will operate at advisory/business partner level, managing a diverse client portfolio and delivering end-to-end HR solutions in a fast-paced environment that blends remote and in-person work across New Zealand.

Ideal candidates have 5–9 years’ generalist HR experience, strong stakeholder management, and a solid grasp of NZ

Qualifications

• 5–9 years generalist HR experience minimum.
• Advisory/Business Partner level experience.
• Strong knowledge of NZ employment legislation and HR compliance.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a diverse client portfolio providing end-to-end HR/People and Culture support operationally and strategically.
• Drive employment relations, change management, leadership coaching, training and engagement initiatives.
• Contribute to organisation design and policy work; ensure compliance and best practice.
