Rio Tinto Plc in New Zealand is seeking a People Partner to act as the primary People point of contact for the NZAS General Manager and leadership team, delivering people priorities and turning business plans into clear actions for their sites.

You will lead delivery across a defined portfolio in a complex, large-scale environment, partnering with People Experience and specialist teams to shape priorities, drive workforce effectiveness and employee experience.

Qualifications

• Senior HR partner with leadership relationships and ability to influence culture in a complex organisation.
• Experience translating business strategy into actionable people priorities and driving execution.
• Ability to interpret workforce data and translate insights into business actions.

Responsibilities

• Act as the trusted People Partner and primary contact for the NZAS General Manager, shaping priorities and coordinating delivery.
• Translate business strategy into near-term workforce and people plans across the portfolio.
• Coach leaders on performance, employee experience and business priorities to support decision-making.
• Lead performance, talent and pay health processes for the site, including calibration and local talent strategies.
• Support complex employee relations matters and union matters, translating regulatory changes into outcomes.
• Lead organisational changes, restructures and transformation initiatives across complex environments.
• Analyse engagement and workforce data to identify trends and drive targeted action plans.
