Job summary

New Zealand Post is seeking a Network Demand & Capacity Planning Manager to translate complex forecast data into practical capacity plans for the nationwide network. This site-based role at Highbrook, East Tamaki, focuses on aligning demand with capacity in processing and last mile operations.

You will connect forecasting, operations, and network design to ensure the right capacity in the right place at the right time, working closely with senior leaders and across departments to deliver

Qualifications

• Experience in demand planning, capacity planning, forecasting or a highly analytical role with strong transferable skills.
• Ability to operate in complex environments with disruption and change.
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to work at high level and granular detail.

Responsibilities

• Leading and continuously improving demand forecasting and planning
• Translating forecast data into optimised capacity plans across processing, and last mile
• Identifying network constraints early and recommend practical solutions
• Running scenario modelling to assess risks, disruptions and network design opportunities
• Leading the demand cycle and presenting clear insights to senior leaders
• Partnering across operations, finance, digital and network design to align plans and execution
