Job summary

Motion Asia Pacific in Auckland, Mt Wellington and Wiri bases is seeking a Network Inventory Planner to optimize stock across the branch network and national distribution centre. The role focuses on ensuring stock is in the right locations at the right time while managing working capital.

You will analyse SKU performance, lead times and demand variability to set inventory levels, maintain DRP settings, and develop Power BI dashboards to drive supply-chain improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory planning, supply chain, replenishment or demand planning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Good communication skills.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
• Power BI reporting and dashboard development experience.
• Experience using ERP and inventory management systems.
• Continuous Improvement Mindset and ability to think outside the box.

Responsibilities

• Analyse SKU performance, demand variability and lead times to set appropriate inventory levels.
• Maintain Min/Max and DRP settings across branches, hubs and distribution centres.
• Rebalance inter-branch stock to improve availability and reduce working capital.
• Manage pack-size rules and identify SKU rationalisation opportunities.
• Track inventory health, including availability, fill rate, turns, weeks of cover and E&O stock.
• Monitor inventory investment and recommend actions to improve ROI.
• Extract and analyse ERP, WMS and business data; develop Power BI reporting and dashboards.
• Partner with branches, inventory and DC teams to resolve enquiries and deliver supply-chain improvement projects.
