Amazon Web Services (AWS) in New Zealand is seeking a Principal Account Executive for the National Security & Defence (NSD) within Public Sector Sales. The role requires deep technical knowledge and defence industry experience to engage customer leaders, maintain clearances, and collaborate with Australian teams on NZ-adapted, interoperable solutions.

You will own strategic initiatives, manage complex programs, and influence roadmaps while communicating with senior leadership across locales.

Formación

• 15+ years of professional or military experience.
• 8+ years in technology sales, or 5+ years in technology sales experience.
• Experience with government procurement and contracting.
• Experience with C-level sales and strategic partnerships.
• Ability to handle complex tasks quickly with minimal guidance and urgency.

• Set and deliver vision, strategy, and results for NSD programs.
• Lead and mentor teams across large, challenging initiatives.
• Develop roadmaps and influence priorities across programs and orgs.
