Job summary

First Focus is recruiting a Technical Account Manager to act as a trusted advisor for SMB and mid-market clients. You will shape technology roadmaps, guide IT strategy, and partner with senior stakeholders and the C-suite to deliver practical outcomes.

This role offers significant autonomy, collaboration with dedicated internal teams, and the chance to grow with a fast-growing MSP/MSSP. A flexible hybrid work arrangement supports work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Senior MSP/MSSP experience in a client-facing role.
• Experience selling to C-suite in SMB/mid-market.
• Strong track record in account management, retention and growth.
• Ability to shape IT strategy, infrastructure, security, and roadmaps.
• Excellent organisational skills with CRM/forecasting experience.
• Ability to challenge constructively and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Build real, non-transactional relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and C-suite.
• Guide IT strategy, infrastructure, security, and operations roadmaps.
• Identify opportunities to simplify or rethink client processes.
• Balance following process with constructive challenge when needed.
• Deliver measurable client outcomes through collaboration with delivery teams.
• Make a real difference by guiding clients toward practical tech directions.
