Job summary

H J Asmuss in Wellington is seeking a sales support professional to strengthen our Lower North Island capabilities. You will work with the external sales team and regional managers to deliver top-tier customer service, prepare competitive quotations and identify opportunities to grow our business.

You will assist our sales team while they meet customers, source pricing, coordinate supplier information and ensure timely, professional service.

Qualifications

• Understanding pricing, margins and profitability.
• Ability to solve customer problems and deliver exceptional service.
• Organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with suppliers and customers to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
• Prepare and manage customer quotations and follow up outstanding quotes.
• Source pricing for stock and indent products.
• Analyse margins, freight and commercial costs.
• Produce quotation and sales reports.
• Identify opportunities to increase customer spend and drive growth.
