Job summary

Team Recruitment is seeking a Commercially minded Sales Development Coordinator in Auckland. You will prepare accurate customer quotations and manage pricing requests while supporting tender and RFP responses.

You will work with our commercial and sales teams in Wellington and Operations in Auckland, building strong relationships across locations. This hands-on role in a small, collaborative team requires confident communication and proactive outreach to potential customers to drive growth

Qualifications

• Experience in freight forwarding, logistics or commercial pricing.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• A process-driven approach with solid organisational skills.
• Confident, clear phone manner for a range of customers.
• Ability to work independently and connect with colleagues remotely.
• Experience with CRM systems and data handling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate customer quotations in a timely manner.
• Manage pricing requests and respond to pricing queries.
• Support tender and RFP responses with pricing inputs.
• Collaborate with commercial, sales and operations teams across Wellington and Auckland.
• Proactively call potential customers to develop opportunities.

Join a close-knit Auckland team within a growing freight forwarding business, where your pricing expertise will directly support new business growth across Australia and New Zealand.

We're looking for a commercially minded Sales Development Coordinator to prepare accurate customer quotations, manage pricing requests, and support tender and RFP responses. You'll work closely with our commercial and sales teams based in Wellington, along with Operations here in Auckland, so you'll need to be comfortable connecting confidently across locations and building strong working relationships remotely.

This is a hands-on role within a small, collaborative Auckland team, where you'll have genuine visibility of your work and the chance to make a real impact. It also involves proactively calling potential customers, so confident, clear communication is essential.

What you'll bring:

• Experience in freight forwarding, logistics or commercial pricing
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• A process-driven approach and solid organisational skills
• Confident, natural phone manner, comfortable speaking with a range of customers
• Comfortable working independently and connecting with colleagues in other locations
• Experience with CRM systems
