Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking a Service Sales Engineer to grow service and lifecycle solutions across the New Zealand power market. This role is technical-commercial, focused on developing customer relationships, identifying service opportunities and delivering solutions for existing electrical assets.

You will build relationships with utilities, EPCs and asset owners, manage opportunities from qualification to close, and collaborate with tech and operations teams to deliver customer solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical sales, service sales, engineering or BDM within power, energy or electrical sectors.
• Strong understanding of the power sector and electrical infrastructure.
• Commercially minded with strong negotiation and stakeholder skills.
• Able to translate technical requirements into customer-focused solutions.
• Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop service sales opportunities across existing and new customers.
• Build relationships with utilities, EPCs, asset owners and key stakeholders.
• Manage opportunities from qualification through to contract close.
• Develop account strategies and increase service penetration.
• Work with technical and operations teams to deliver customer solutions.
• Manage pipeline, forecasting and CRM activity.
