Job summary

Beyond Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Service Technician to support a busy industrial and utilities environment in Tauriko. You will perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and onsite service across medium- and high-voltage equipment and temporary power systems.

The role offers strong earning potential, a permanent full-time position, and the chance to work with a respected operator servicing major commercial clients.

Qualifications

• EWRB Electrical Licence is required.
• Own tools would be advantageous.
• Class 4 or 5 licence (not mandatory).
• Forklift licence (nice to have).
• Strong technical aptitude is essential.
• Engineering background would be ideal.

Responsibilities

• Electrical servicing, installation, troubleshooting and maintenance across industrial/utilities environments, including high-voltage settings.
• Depot-based tasks and field servicing for customer sites.
• You will report directly to the Branch Manager.
• Overnight work when required and travel to sites as needed.

We are urgently seekinganElectrical Service Technicianto support a busy industrial and utilities environment in Tauriko, this is a great opportunity to join a high‑performing team delivering installation, maintenance, repair, and onsite service work across medium‑and high‑voltage equipment and temporary power systems.

What’s on Offer

• Permanent fulltime role - with an immediate start
• Minimum 40 hours per week
• Time-and-a-half overtime for hours worked over 40
• On call allowance (regardless of a call out)
• Overnight & Callout allowances

The Role

You’ll be responsible for electrical servicing, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance across industrial and utilities environments, including high‑voltage settings. Work includes a mix of depot-based tasks and field servicing for customer sites.

• Must be willing to work overnight when required
• Mix of solo work and buddy work
• Physically demanding – includes heavy lifting and manual labour
• Industrial, utilities, and high‑voltage environments
• Travel to sites as required
