Job summary

Millbrook Resort in Arrowtown, near Queenstown, is seeking Seasonal Landscape Labourers to keep our five-star grounds world-class. You will work outdoors across 650 acres of scenic gardens, maintaining lawns, trees and beds while delivering quality service and contributing to a collaborative team.

Hours are full-time, fixed-term over the summer, with permanent options for the right candidates. If you are physically fit, enjoy outdoor work and take pride in high horticultural standards, we would

• Ability to operate small plant machinery.
• Excellent communication and a can-do attitude.

• Maintain resort gardens to the highest horticultural standards.
• Support various landscaping projects including garden establishment and mowing.
• Operate small plant machinery where required.

The Role

Millbrook Resort’s landscape is iconic, the peaceful setting allowspeople to ‘escape the everyday,’ as they enter the resort. The role providesthe opportunity to ensure the gardens around the resort and the properties aremaintained to the highest horticultural standards, providing quality servicesand adding real value to the operation. The role will also support deliveringvarious landscaping projects. Theseprojects will be varied in nature from establishing gardens, to tree removal andmowing. We focus on being a part of a collaborative team, with a strong focuson excellence.

Success Profile

• Abilityto operate small plant machinery desirable
• Excellentcommunication skills, coupled with a ‘can do’ attitude
• Must bephysically fit to carry out manual handling duties
• Willingness tolearn new tasks
• Abilityto work on own initiative, as well as work as an effective team player

Location: Arrowtown,Queenstown

Hours: Full-time,fixed-term (30/40 hours per week guaranteed) over our summer season, withpermanent options available for the right candidates
