Job summary

Bazaar Limited, trading as VIP's MiniMart, seeks an experienced Store Manager to lead daily operations at our Temuka store on King Street. You will supervise staff, manage scheduling, control inventory, and drive sales while maintaining health and safety standards.

• At least 2 years' relevant retail management experience.
• A relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Retail Management, Management or related discipline.
• Proven leadership and people management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with POS systems, inventory management and cash handling.
• Sound organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail and food service environment.
• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays when required.

• Monitor budgets, operating costs and business performance.
• Coordinate online orders and delivery operations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and service providers.
• Ensure the store is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness, presentation and operational efficiency.
• Prepare operational reports and implement continuous business improvements.

Skills & Experience

Applicants must have:
