Job summary

Woolworths Group New Zealand seeks a Store Leadership professional to optimise store-wide scheduling, oversee training, and plan workforce needs across 185 stores. You will ensure rostering aligns with budgets and compliance.

You’ll review payroll, support store leadership as Acting Store Manager on shifts, and foster collaboration, delivering strong customer and team experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimise store-wide team scheduling to maximise service, align with budgets and rostering principles.
• Plan and oversee training for multi-skilling and compliance requirements.
• Conduct strategic workforce planning for future labor needs, annual leave, succession and certifications.
• Review weekly payroll for accuracy and resolve escalated issues.
• Provide store leadership support by acting as Acting Store Manager on scheduled shifts and fostering teamwork.
