Ryman Healthcare in Palmerston North is seeking a casual Sous Chef to join our kitchen team. You will support the Senior Lead Chef, prepare meals from seasonal menus, and cater to residents’ dietary needs in a friendly, professional environment.

• Proven experience as a Chef, leading a team and running a kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the kitchen team to create an exceptional dining experience.
• Provide coverage of the Senior Lead Chef during days off.
• Prepare meals from seasonal menus rich in variety, flavour and nutrition.
• Cater to different residents' dietary needs.
• Assist with specialty food for fine dining experiences and functions.
• Operate with health and safety as a key consideration.
