Ryman Healthcare in Orewa, Auckland is seeking an experienced Sous Chef for Evelyn Page Retirement Village. This casual position offers a hands‑on leadership role in a warm, resort‑style village where every meal supports our residents’ well‑being.

You will prepare meals from seasonal menus, accommodate dietary needs and provide coverage for the Senior Lead Chef on days off, helping maintain consistently high standards of quality and service.

Qualifications

• NZ Certificate in Cookery (Level 3) is required.
• Experience as a Chef leading a team and running a kitchen.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Reliable, friendly and professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver exceptional dining.
• Provide coverage of the Senior Lead Chef during days off.
• Prepare meals from seasonal menus with variety, flavour and nutrition.
