Job summary

Xero is seeking a Solutions Consultant to join our Auckland-based team. You will act as a trusted technical advisor alongside the sales team, translating partner requirements into scalable workflows and guiding cloud migrations.

Your expertise in accounting and consultative design will help partners unlock long-term value from the Xero platform. You will lead discovery, deliver tailored demonstrations, and support partners through adoption, balancing technical rigor with clear communication

Qualifications

• Experience within an accounting or bookkeeping practice environment.
• Proven track record in consultative problem solving, pre-sales or technical solution design in complex environments.
• Ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms and run engaging sessions or demonstrations.
• Deep familiarity with cloud-based accounting platforms and related practice workflow software.
• Comfort with using AI tools and productivity tech to build efficient solutions.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to navigate ambiguity across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and tailored solution scoping with Account Executives.
• Design and deliver engaging, custom product demonstrations for firm workflows.
• Guide new practice partners through cloud implementation, workflow mapping, and early adoption up skilling.
• Provide expert technical support during sales cycles to overcome roadblocks and objections.
