Job summary

Counties Energy is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Software Engineering Team to deliver innovative digital platforms across Counties Energy and subsidiaries. You will help design smart technical solutions, influence technology roadmaps, and implement modern tech stacks to drive the digital transformation of the energy sector.

Based in Pukekohe, you’ll work with teams across the business to turn ideas into impactful solutions that enhance customer experiences and business outcomes.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years' experience in Digital enterprise and/or solutions architecture.
Design and develop Spring Boot applications using Java or Kotlin.
Develop responsive web applications with React.
Familiar with containerisation with Docker.
Familiar with AWS Services (ECS, S3, Lambda, Aurora, Event Bridge, etc.).
Build CI/CD pipelines.
Write Unit tests.

Responsibilities

Contribute to delivering innovative digital platforms across Counties Energy and subsidiaries.
Design smart technical solutions and influence technology roadmaps.
Turn ideas into impactful solutions that improve customer experiences and business outcomes.
Work with cross‑functional teams and management levels to drive digital transformation.
