Job summary

Objective Corporation is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Planning & Building Solutions team, contributing to a modern, AWS-hosted SaaS platform used by governments across NZ, Australia and the UK.

In this role you’ll work across the full stack, designing, developing and delivering features, modernising legacy components and solving complex technical challenges within a collaborative, cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• Proficient in TypeScript with solid React/Angular experience.
• Strong SQL Server and relational DB skills; RESTful APIs.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and DevOps tools.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines and automated tests.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test new product features.
• Build and maintain scalable systems, APIs and web apps.
• Refactor legacy code for performance and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot product and customer issues.
• Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including testers, product owners and writers.
• Help improve development, testing and delivery processes.
