Job summary

Counties Energy is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead the development and delivery of significant electricity infrastructure projects from our Pukekohe base. You will align technical designs with commercial goals, manage cross-functional inputs and ensure timely outcomes across complex assignments.

Based in Pukekohe, you will work with internal teams, contractors, and clients to optimise solutions while adhering to regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in the electricity industry with 3+ years in project leadership over projects > $5m
• Design, connection assessment, construction support, commissioning and project delivery
• Commercially savvy with stakeholder, client, consultant and supplier interactions
• Electrical engineering degree, distribution networks or complex electricity infra experience; CPEng/PMP advantageous

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver critical electricity infrastructure projects
• Coordinate commercial, technical and stakeholder inputs to achieve optimal solutions
• Ensure technical soundness, commercial optimisation and alignment with engineering standards
• Report to Project Engineering and Design Manager and manage delivery timelines
