Oranga Tamariki in Auckland is seeking Allied Support Workers to back frontline Social Work teams, delivering reliable support to tamariki, rangatahi and whānau. These permanent roles provide stable, ongoing capacity within the workforce.

As non‑regulated Allied Support Workers, you’ll assist with home visits, transport tamariki and rangatahi, and admin tasks for Family Group Conferences. You’ll need resilience, good judgement and the ability to work across Māori and Pasifika cultures.

Qualifications

• Experience working in the community or supporting people in need.
• Ability to work with Māori and/or Pasifika cultures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with peers and stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Provide site support on a day‑to‑day basis to meet team needs.
• Assist social workers with case notes in CYRAS and other systems.
• Safely transport tamariki and rangatahi between locations such as appointments or school.
• Support and assist with Family Group Conferences (FGC) administration.
