Oranga Tamariki in Auckland seeks Allied Support Workers to assist frontline social workers and contribute to the wellbeing of tamariki, rangatahi and whānau. Roles are permanent and focus on enabling social workers to meet statutory requirements and professional practice.

You will support home visits, case notes in CYRAS, transport clients between locations, and help with Family Group Conferences. A social services qualification is desirable and a full driver's licence is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in the community assisting or supporting people in need.
• Experience with Māori and/or Pasifika cultures.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.
• Clean, current full driver's licence is essential.

• Provide site support to frontline social workers on demand.
• Assist with entering case notes into CYRAS.
• Safely transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Support Family Group Conferences (FGCs) preparations and follow-ups.
• Occasional weekend and afterhours work.
