Waitākere College is seeking an SME Business Development Manager to drive new business across Auckland and nationwide in New Zealand. You will identify SME clients, present our POS, EFTPOS, and digital payment solutions, and conduct in-person meetings and product demonstrations.

You will build a robust sales pipeline, forge partnerships, and collaborate with operations and support teams to meet revenue targets while expanding the NZ SME market.

Aufgaben

• Identify and acquire new SME customers across Auckland and wider New Zealand.
• Promote POS, EFTPOS, payment and digital business solutions.
• Conduct face‑to‑face meetings, product demonstrations and merchant visits.
• Develop relationships with business owners and key decision‑makers.
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline from prospecting through to onboarding.
• Develop referral and strategic partnership channels.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Work closely with operations, technology and customer‑support teams.
• Achieve agreed customer acquisition and revenue targets.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing SME customers and identify opportunities for further growth.
