Placements24 is seeking a diligent Site Supervisor for Queenstown, Eastern Cape, to oversee civil construction activities. The role focuses on ensuring safe, efficient site operations, coordinating crews, and maintaining compliance with project specs and quality standards.

You will supervise daily activities, manage resources, and uphold strict health and safety practices while reporting progress to engineers and project managers. A minimum of 4 years in a similar role is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or Foreman in civil engineering construction.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and construction methods.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations on construction sites.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Good leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct daily activities of construction crews on civil engineering sites.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Monitor the progress of work against the project schedule and report any deviations.
• Inspect work performed by contractors and laborers to ensure it meets quality standards and specifications.
