Our client, a reputable civil engineering and construction firm, is seeking an accomplished Senior Project Manager to oversee significant projects within the Eastern Cape. This demanding role is based in Queenstown, Eastern Cape , and involves the full spectrum of project management for infrastructure development, including roads, bridges, and public facilities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing large-scale construction projects, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality specifications. You will lead a dedicated team of professionals and subcontractors, ensuring safe and efficient project execution. Key Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of infrastructure construction projects from initiation to completion.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and resource allocation.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Professional registration with ECSA is highly desirable.
• A minimum of 9 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with a strong focus on infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record of successfully managing projects valued at R50 million or more.
• In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar.
• Strong understanding of contract law and procurement processes in the construction sector.
• Ability to work effectively in demanding site conditions and manage diverse teams.
