Job summary

Northpower Renewables in Whangārei seeks a dedicated Project Administrator for two landmark renewable energy projects. This fixed-term, 8-month role is site-based and supports engineers, project managers and specialists to keep work organised and on track.

You'll coordinate activities, prepare governance documents, and help with procurement, cost tracking and site-onboarding. A proactive, detail-focused contributor will thrive here.

Qualifications

  • Experience in project administration, coordination or executive support.
  • Strong organisation and planning skills with attention to detail.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook).
  • Experience with procurement, invoicing and financial systems.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative approach to working with a high-performing team.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate meetings, workshops and project activities.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, meeting minutes and governance docs.
  • Maintain project systems, controls and reporting requirements.
  • Keep project records, registers and document control systems.
  • Support procurement, purchase orders, invoicing and contract administration.
  • Assist with project cost tracking and financial administration.
  • Coordinate contractor onboarding, inductions and mobilisations.
  • Support stakeholder engagement, site visits and project events.
